Twisting Poses require flexibility of the pelvis, spine and shoulders. Twisting poses are complicated because twist involves cross linking one side of the body to the other which may create more complication to postural alignment if they are not executed with integrity of the joints.
In this workshop, we shall look at some of the basic twisting poses acting as a release to body tension as well as flexibility of the spine. We shall also explore the various components that make up a twist and how to execute the pose without losing integrity of the joints. How can we twist without hyperextension or causing more jams in our pelvis, neck and shoulders?
